We are seeking a highly organised person to take care of facilities and events in our recently opened Community Newsroom in the heart of the Southside. This will involve managing the space day-to-day which includes our co-working desk, and regular events.

Decolonise Fest is an annual London-based, volunteer-run, non-profit DIY punk festival collectively organised by and for punx of colour. This is we are going on tour in Glasgow on 11 November at Mono.

The Lullaby Project is a creative day for parents to make a new lullaby for their child. The event is open to parents of all nationalities and is also open to anyone outside of Govan, including Govanhill residents.

Positive Action in Housing, a leading refugee housing charity based in Glasgow, has expressed deep concern over the impending homelessness crisis faced by approximately 1,400 individuals expected to be granted asylum by the end of this year.
