Community Conversation on Travel in Govanhill

Join the University of Glasgow for an important community conversation on travel in Govanhill! Your voice matters, and we want to hear your thoughts on travel and ideas on how to improve how you get around in your neighbourhood.

Who do we want to speak to? We are interested in speaking to anyone who lives in Govanhill who has any experience or views about travel. This can be any mode e.g. car, public transport, walking, cycling, wheeling.

What does the event involve? This event will involve informal interactive group discussions and activities. We want to speak to you about:

• What are your experiences of travel?

• What helps and stops you and your family getting places?

• What might help you and your family get around in the future?

• Date: Thu, 26 Oct 2023

• Time: Feel free to arrive from 6.30pm with prompt start at 6.45pm. Event will end at 8.30pm.

• Location: Govanhill Neighbourhood Centre (6 Daisy Street Govanhill Glasgow G42 8JL)

Please RSVP using the Eventbrite link. You are also welcome to bring family and friends, and also just turn up on the night.

Please feel free to arrive from 6.30pm, with a start time of 6.45pm. We expect to finish at approximately 8.30pm.
