MCR Pathways - Volunteer Mentors Needed

MCR Pathways are looking for more volunteer mentors in the Southside of Glasgow to support a young person in their community. We are a transformational schools-based mentoring programme that matches young people with a volunteer mentor who spends an hour a week meeting, listening and encouraging a young person in their school. Supporting young people across the country has never been more important. Through no fault of their own, care experienced and young people facing challenges are affected by a significant gap in outcomes compared to their peers. Just one hour a week with a consistent, caring adult can boost confidence, academic performance and open doors to a brighter future. Our volunteer mentors come from every walk of life, background and profession as no prior experience is needed.

The schools in the South we are most in need of volunteer mentors are:
- Castlemilk High School
- Govan High School
- Holyrood Secondary School
- Lourdes Secondary School
- St.Margaret Mary's Secondary School
- St.Paul's Secondary School
