Festive Community Lunch

When: 14 December, 1-3pm

Where: Finn’s Place, 167 Ledard Road

Potluck style festive lunch. Finn’s Place will provide the food, but feel free to bring a cold dish or dessert to share with others. More information and tickets here.

Breakfast With Santa

Bring the kids to visit Santa, have their faces painted, enjoy a behind the scenes dressing room tour and more.

Shows

Tortoise in a Nutshell presents Ginger

When: 6-16 December, 1:30pm and 5:30pm. 

Where: Tramway, 25 Albert Drive 

Festive themed show, Ginger returns for another year of interactive stories of a gingerbread misfit. The one-hour performance includes a 35-minute show, followed by 25 minutes of gingerbread decorating.

The Warm Café Community Carol Event

Where: Shawlands Trinity Café, 5 Moss-Side Road 

The Warm Café team have organised a special community event this winter with carolling, tea, coffee and Christmas pies. All welcome. 


ICHI Family Friendly Show at The Glad Cafe

When: 12 December, 2pm

Where: The Glad Cafe, 1006A Pollokshaws Rd

ICHI, the Japanese musician is pushing the boundaries of the one-man-band to new limits. He has been praised by the likes of Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and radio DJ Lauren Laverne - who called his show “hilarious, bonkers and brilliant”.

Music, Mantra & Meditation: Festive Special

Glad Community Choir Christmas Concert

The Choir have teamed up with local author Steven Vass who wrote Let the Music Play: How R&B Fell in Love With 80’s synth. The Choir have worked Steven’s curated list of songs from that book into their Christmas concert.

Queen’s Park Bowling Club Christmas Market

Raising money for the charity 'Classrooms for Malawi' who will be selling small Christmas gifts to raise funds.


Park Lane Market Christmas 

When: 2-3, 9-10 and 17-18 December, 11-4pm

Where: Park Lane, 974 Pollokshaws Road

The annual Park Lane Christmas Market will take place over three weekends. With lots of local stalls run by small businesses and independent makers, there should be plenty of unique gifts to buy for loved ones and lots of chances to get your Christmas shopping done before the big day.


Sunshine No. 1 Festive Shopping Evening

When: 6 December, 7-9pm

Drop in for mulled wine, mince pies and festive shopping and gifts from over 120 artists across Scotland. 


This is Not a Craft Market - Festive Edition

When: 9 and 16 December, 11-4pm.

Rags to Riches annual Christmas Craft Market returns to The Deep End just in time for people to find handcrafted gifts whilst supporting local makers and artists. 


MILK Cafe Festive Market

When: 22 December, 1-5pm 

Where: MILK Café, 452 Victoria Rd 

Festive market at MILK, where you’ll find mulled wine, festive bakes fresh out of the oven and coffee as well as a chance to get last minute gifts, including stocking fillers and hand printed cards.
