If you’re looking for an opportunity to get involved in COP26 and support Climate Action, learn a new skill or just to have some fun and then now is your chance.  We’re very excited to announce our Remade Network calendar of events during COP26, and we would love for you to get involved.

1st November – Reimagining Repair: Building a grassroots economy from the Ground up.

1st - 10th November – Remade Network #techdroptonne

We are calling on Glasgow residents to donate their unwanted electrical items during COP 26 to reduce CO2 emissions. Have a look through your garage, drawers or cupboards and drop off your unwanted or broken electricals at one of our pop up Tech Drop recycling points across the city of Glasgow.

6th November – Common Ground Fest, Green Market

Location: Queen Margaret Union
4pm – 8pm, Free to attend

Bring along your unwanted tech to recycle, shop our range of quality, refurbished tech, and if you’ve ever wondered what’s inside your phone take part in our workshop to find out. Find out more here

7th November - Learn to Sew Workshop, Intro to Darning

Location: Remade, Victoria Road
Times: 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm, Tickets £15

Come along to our sewing workshop for an afternoon of fun and leave with a lifelong skill. Bring along your own item to mend and by the end of the workshop it will be as good as new. Click here to book.

10th November – Remade Network @ Lush Glasgow City

78 Buchanan Street, G1 3HA
Time: 10:30am – 12:30 pm, Free to attend

Come along and join us at our drop-in repair workshop where participants can get free textiles repair advice at Lush Glasgow City. Bring along a garment to repair and with the help of our talented textiles technician you can leave with a new skill. Find out more here.

10th November – Local Heroes - Planting Seeds for the Future

Location: Fred Paton Centre Main Hall
Time: 2pm – 3:30pm, Free to attend

Our Director, Sophie Unwin will be speaking at the people's summit for Climate Justice, an event that will discuss the injustices we are currently facing, imagine the future we want to build, and strategise how we can get there. Find out more here.
