WEvolution: Facilitating Self-Reliant Groups Training Course

What happens when people have finance and support to back themselves? Find out at this event. Across four mornings, you'll receive training on facilitating the creation of Self-Reliant Groups: self-sustaining clusters where people can meet, save and create their own opportunities.

This training is for anyone working within a Community Development role. It's also open to anyone who is just passionate about the potential of people when they're provided with the right environment.

“A great model for community work - so much [community development] work is funding based and not self-sustaining, this model deals with economics which again isn’t included in community training. Just fab, you guys have nailed it!”

A Self-Reliant Group (SRG) is an informal collective of people who meet, save and create together. There are currently 110 SRGs in Scotland, the rest of the UK, and Europe - every single one of them unlocking their potential and, in turn, impacting their families and communities.

Find out how a people-powered approach offers those on the margins, the space and opportunities to create cash, connections, and confidence.

The total cost of this training is £25. Book here: https://bit.ly/35CPjix

The event takes place over four consecutive mornings:

7, 14, 21, 28 March, 10.00 - 12.30.
