To mark International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, a vigil will be held in memory of Agnes Wanjiru- A Kenyan mother and sex worker who was murdered 9 years ago by a British Army soldier- and all other workers who have faced violence.
There will be a small in person gathering at the Pink Peacock on Victoria Road from 4:30 onwards
There will also be a short meeting on zoom from 6-7pm with speakers from ScotPEP discussing renewed efforts to increase client criminalisation in Scotland and how this will likely increase violence workers face, as well as guest speakers to talk about Agnes Wanjiru's story and the campaign for justice for her and her family.
