This is an invitation to explore and redefine our relationship to the environments we move through. The workshop will take the form of an instructional audio recording which participants will follow whilst walking in a place of their choosing. The audio will guide participants through a series of body awareness exercises. Collectively in our individual locations we will move towards an understanding of the body as an archive of memory, experience and knowledge and a tool for listening.
Welcoming all forms and expressions of identity and experiences, we will begin together from wherever we all are. We will begin together on Zoom and return after the walk to the group on Zoom to talk through our experiences. Required materials: Headphones and a portable device to listen to the audio on whilst walking. (Audio will be available to stream or download from soundcloud).
