Glasgow Zine Fest

  • Glasgow Zine Library (map)

This year, our programme follows the theme of ‘collective autonomy’. Through this, we’ll be learning how to build our collective power and make things together in loving and accountable ways. We are excited to be working with a wide range of artists, organisers, activists and academics who all work to create this.

We’ll reflect together on how zines build communities of critical consciousness, providing us with knowledge that is marginalised elsewhere. This will be enriched with talks, workshops, exhibitions and screenings that invite us into the beyond and the otherwise, considering how - with our bodies, with our creative work, and with relationships of care - we can transform ‘now’ into more possible futures.

For the second year running, an amazing group of young producers have joined the GZF team to bring more exciting events to the programme that showcase their interests, knowledge, and expertise.

And, as always, our zine fair will showcase over 40 makers selling and showing off their zines throughout the weekend, with even more makers joining in remotely via the online fair.Wherever you’re joining from, GZF22 will be an opportunity to learn, connect, and make. We can’t wait to see you there!
