Food/Writing: Community & Food

  • Glasgow Zine Library Cathcart Road (map)

Food/Writing is a new monthly workshop by Sean Wai Keung looking at the different ways food can be used as a way to explore different ideas, experiences and identities. We will do this through eating and writing together, leading to an eventual (optional) live potluck event and sharing in late June.

In this session we will take a look at how food can be used as a way to write about communities and living together. We'll be thinking about the relationship between food, writing and different communities, as well as how various communities interact with, or are integral parts of, different food chains. Feel free to bring your own snacks as well, although this isn't compulsory and no experience in either food or writing is required to take part!
