You are invited to the zine launch of Sapphic Writers' second issue of their zine project. Please join the Sapphic Writers team on the 11th of October, 7PM-9PM BST, to celebrate 'Calm After The Storm'.

Sapphic Writers is a collective of women and non-binary people who all share a mutual sapphic experience. This collective came together to give people a space to release their creative energies, seek out advice, and find a safe community free of judgment and prejudice.

The Sapphic Writers team first conceived this Zines theme at a time when the world was at a stand-still. While the population was implored by its leaders to stay home and save lives, the Sapphic Writers team thought to the future, a world beyond our current circumstances. A time where we could start fresh, do right by our planet and our neighbours, and strive for a better, kinder world. As things begin to resemble some sense of normality, we would like to remind all our readers to be kind and go forward creating a world you want to see. Our second zine focuses on the theme of ‘emergence’, interpreted in several ways by a group of incredibly talented writers.

The event will feature readings from our authors, who will have the chance to discuss their pieces and answer questions from the audience.
