Bike4Good South will be leading a bike ride from its shop on Langside Lane to Trans Pride Scotland in Paisley.
The 9 mile route goes through Queens Park, Pollok Park and along the National Cycle Route 7 and 75 to Paisley. We will take a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks to make the ride accessible to people of all fitness levels, so please bring water and snacks.
The route includes pretty traffic-free sections through the parks and along White Cart Water, as well as some sections on the road but Bike for Good ride leaders will be there to support the group. In terms of cycling ability you should be able to use your gears, signal and look over your right should whilst cycling along. If you need any support to feel confident doing this please contact robind@bikeforgood.org.uk
Before the ride, there will time to decorate your bike with Pride decorations at Bike4Good.
Please also let us know if you need to borrow a bike and helmet. If you are bringing your own bike please ensure it is in good working order. If you are borrowing a bike you will need to make your own arrangements to travel home, as the bikes will be collected in Paisley so you can enjoy the workshops and after-party!
