COP26 and Climate Change Events in Govanhill and the Southside
Many locals are saying they find the vast range and number of climate-related events overwhelming. Luckily our friends at SEIN have created this handy guide for climate change and climate justice events happening locally.
This post was written by our friends at the South East Integration Network
The UN Climate Conference is underway in Glasgow; an opportunity for our local communities to raise voices; to highlight those of indigenous & marginalised communities & make it clear that climate justice goes hand in hand with racial justice.
This is also an opportunity for us to come together – to reflect, educate, and learn from each other.
There are many ways you can get involved over the coming few weeks. (The conference runs from Sunday 31st October – Friday 12th November).
Below, we’ve collated some of the events, programmes and activities taking place in during, the conference. Many of these are organised by SEIN members.
There is a lot going on…! Please scroll down, find what’s right for you, & share with others.
